Well its the 25th of January and I am still going strong on my New Year's Resolutions and liking it. This is the first time that I have every quit smoking since I started at the age of 28 and I am still going strong. Also, it was great of me to enter myself in the Color Me Rad 5k because it is giving me accountability and keeping me going to the gym everyday. I'm even liking it and looking forward to it everyday. Even though I have intense pain still but it is at least bearable.

I am so determined to reach my health goals and even though I feel a bit overwhelmed with school, work, and getting myself on a schedule I am sure I can do it.

I will keep you updated and btw I have lost 3 lbs already. I know its not alot but its a start.

Well its been a slow beginning but I have been forcing myself to make small changes like smoking less and walking 20 minutes every morning. Its not much but I am the only one that controls if I get healthy or not and I need to take responsibility for it all. I need to start posting everyday and I believe I need to in order for giving myself accountability.

I finally have graduated from a university and starting a new career and M.S. in Educational Program and I have come to the realization that I need to make even more changes in my life besides the career and educational ones. For example, the more deep seeded ones like quit smoking and losing weight. I'm 44 and I am starting a new life and need to become a new me as well. So I have decided to keep record of it so that it can help me focus and find the right direction to go towards.
